Marimi is the Founder and Owner of A Seedling Mind Montessori School. Originally from Haiti, Marimi is married to her loving husband of 15 years with two beautiful children, and their family dog.
Recognizing the immense value of Montessori education but aware of its inaccessibility due to high costs, she made it her mission to create a solution. Driven by a deep desire to offer her own children, as well as families in the greater Wake County community, the opportunity to experience this transformative learning approach, she founded her own school.
Her vision was to break down the financial barriers and make Montessori education available to all, ensuring that every child has access to the benefits of a personalized, hands-on learning environment.
Marimi holds her AMS Early Childhood Montessori certification from a MACTE accredited teacher training center. She has a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. She is a former Montessori Teacher and Head of School.
