Welcome to the Toddler Program
Encouraging Independence Early in Life
The Toddler development program at A Seedling Mind Montessori School is for children 15 months to 3 years, the age of early walkers and explorers. We embrace this stage of toddler development to facilitate their experience and to develop more independence, creativity, and emotional health.
Why Should You Choose the Toddler Program?

1. Fostering Independence
Toddlers like to be independent as much as possible, and our program supports such activities as feeding, dressing, and cleaning up. They achieve small victories during the day that help to develop their confidence, which is important in the toddler development learning process.
2. A Montessori Environment for Toddlers
Our classes are equipped with learning and teaching aids that are safe and appropriate for your little ones. All the elements surrounding them serve as a means to facilitate their desire to play and learn and to meet their toddler development requirements.

3. Highly Trained Educators
The teachers in our Montessori school have had years of training and focus on toddler development, ensuring that every child feels welcome, safe, and accepted. Our educators and support staff help toddlers to achieve their milestones as learners, without any pressure being placed on them.
4. Smooth Transition from Home to School
The toddler development program acts as a bridge between home and a structured learning environment. By taking part in activities and familiar practices, we help toddlers adapt smoothly to their new surroundings.

Toddler Development Program Highlights
- Holistic Development: Our Montessori-inspired activities focus on complete toddler nurturing and growth:
Social and Emotional Skills: Teaching children simple lessons such as how to share, be patient, and learn how to deal with emotions.
Physical Development: Motor skills are developed through physical activities like climbing, stacking, drawing, painting, etc.
Cognitive Growth: Language familiarization, developing problem-solving skills, and simple math and number problems are taught through hands-on activities. - Structured Yet Flexible Routines: Toddlers, as they grow, love to do things on their own. Therefore, to build their trust and make them feel secure, we divide our day into two: one that focuses on routine learning and toddler development activities, and the other that focuses on free choice time to promote independence and emotional well-being.
- Language and communication: During this stage, toddlers need to understand basic language and communication. With the help of stories, songs, and even everyday conversations, toddlers expand their attention to grammar and vocabulary and begin forming words, phrases, and forms of expression.
- Social Interaction and Cooperation: Fun group activities assist toddlers in early social skills like sharing and showing consideration to other kids. This toddler development activity helps build the base of healthy interpersonal relationships.
